The lights are on! On the 28th of September 2020, our CEO, Mauro Carbone, and our Operation Manager, Simone Carelli, have welcomed the first team of workers in our new factory.
With this 2nd plant, #Ecopol places itself as the biggest producer in Europe and among the biggest in the World.
In his welcome message to the staff, our CEO, Mauro Carbone, mentioned the importance of this facility in the water-soluble film market, emphasizing that this is only the 1st step of an expansion and investment program that will continue in 2021, with the installation of new lines and further expansion of this brand new factory, for an estimated investment of 20M€ over the period.
Ecopol employs today 60 people, with the aim to reach 100 employees at the end of 2021.

It is here, in this wonderful landscape in the heart of Tuscany, that today, our CEO, Mauro Carbone, has launched the works for our new plant.

Ecopol has developed the first blown film for liquid pods.

On the 28.01.2020, Ecopol has received the certification for the production of Mass Balance Water Soluble Biodegradable films. This is another step of the commitment of Ecopol for a green economy. Indeed our utilization of palm oil derivate is already very limited in our production, but we have decided to increase our level of eco-responsibility to a further step and apply the Mass Balance RSPO (Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil) supply chain model.
